The Concello de Zas will once again become a meeting point this Sunday, April 19 for lovers of traditional Galician sport with the celebration of the 13th matchday of the 2025-26 Galician Billarda League, an event included in the Northwest Conference that will bring together players and spectators around a discipline deeply rooted in local culture. The event will begin at 11:00 am outside the Municipal Sports Hall of Zas, although in the event of rain it will be moved indoors.
This Galician Billarda League day in Zas will be a great opportunity to discover or rediscover a traditional game that is part of Galicia’s sporting and cultural heritage. Over time, billarda has kept its spirit alive thanks to its special mix of skill, competition and community atmosphere.
