The final concert of “Songs of Santiago” will bring this creative experience on the Fisterra-Muxía Way to a memorable close. During the event, the members of the group will perform the original songs they composed while walking together, sharing with the audience the stories, emotions and discoveries that shaped their journey through Galician culture, music and history.
This year’s edition brings together songwriters from Australia, Finland, France and the United States, turning the concert into a truly inspiring intercultural gathering. The evening will feature the premiere of their new songs, pieces born directly from the Camino experience and from the creative exchange that takes place when people from different backgrounds walk, reflect and make music together.
“Songs of Santiago” is a bilingual English-Spanish retreat held twice a year and led by pilgrim, singer-songwriter and anthropologist Dr. Kristina Jacobsen from New Mexico. Designed for musicians, songwriters, writers and poets from around the world, the retreat invites participants to walk together and create songs inspired by the Camino. This final concert is open to pilgrims and the general public, offering a special evening of storytelling, intercultural connection and music shaped by the spirit of the journey.
