The Baio Sociocultural Centre will open the exhibition Aires da Terra on 30 March at 6:00 pm, featuring works by artist Isabel Soutullo. With this new exhibition, Zas Town Council continues to strengthen its commitment to a stable, high-quality cultural programme. The event offers both locals and visitors a chance to discover contemporary art through a body of work shaped by sensitivity and reflection.
Aires da Terra in Baio can be visited free of charge until 30 April, from Tuesday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Born in Coristanco, Isabel Soutullo stands out for addressing social and environmental awareness through paintings that balance figurative and abstract language, inviting viewers into a space where emotions and ideas meet.
The artist has built a solid exhibition career, especially across the province of A Coruña and the Costa da Morte, where her work has already been shown in a range of cultural and institutional venues. She is also a member of the Galeoska collective, which adds even more value to this exhibition in Baio as an opportunity to discover a local artist whose work helps project the identity of the territory beyond its borders.
