The association Mar de Fábula is organising the beach clean-up at Traba de Laxe January 2026 by Mar de Fábula, a volunteer day for everyone who wants to help protect the coastline. The activity will take place on Saturday 10 January at 11:00 a.m., meeting at the car park on the northern side of Traba Beach (Boaño). After the clean-up, volunteers are invited to an art workshop using marine litter collected from the shore at the Traba Social Centre, turning waste into creativity and environmental awareness.
To join the beach clean-up at Traba de Laxe January 2026 by Mar de Fábula, participants must register in advance for insurance purposes by sending their full name and ID number to info@mardefabula.gal or calling +34 660 242 118. All clean-up materials will be provided by the organisation, with logistical support from Laxe Town Council. Take part under the motto “It’s not our rubbish, but it is our planet” and show that thinking globally and acting locally is the best way to care for Traba Beach and the Costa da Morte.
