This Sunday at 18:00, the Baio Auditorium hosts Cantareiras: Tradition and Legacy 2025 in Baio—a heartfelt evening where memory sings. Expect close-up storytelling, pandeireta rhythms, and the unique vocal style that binds our community. Marking the Cultural Heritage Day, we honour the women who have kept Galician roots music alive from voice to voice.
Guests include Fina Casalderrey, the pandeireteiras groups from Asociación Cultural Adro, and invited singers Clarisa Santos Amigo and Matilde Ferreiro Carballo (from Pudenza), with Patricia Blanco and Álex Ínsua hosting and mayor Manuel Muiño in attendance. If you want to feel Costa da Morte pulsing in stories and song, Cantareiras: Tradition and Legacy 2025 in Baio is your moment—emotion, transmission, and a shared future.
