The Pazo de Torres do Allo (Zas) hosts a family-friendly afternoon with Magosto and Traditional Games at Pazo de Torres do Allo. The event takes place on Saturday, 8 November, with free admission, organised by the Council of Zas, bringing back the warmth of autumn traditions in a charming setting. A lovely plan to enjoy local play culture and seasonal flavours together.
From 16:30 to 18:00, there will be a large traditional games showcase and activity session led by the Asociación Galega do Xogo Popular e Tradicional. The venue will turn into a playful yard featuring skill and accuracy (bowling, chave, roma, slingshot), dexterity (spinning top/buxaina, hopscotch/mariola, bottle caps), and speed and balance (stilts, soapbox carts). Instructors will guide participants and provide all materials to ensure an authentic, fun experience.
From 18:00 onwards, Magosto and Traditional Games at Pazo de Torres do Allo continues with free roasted chestnuts and live traditional music by Asociación Cultural Adro and Asociación de Baile Tradicional Churía. There will also be a refreshment stand in support of 4º ESO students from IES Maximino Romero, rounding off a warm, community-spirited afternoon.
