Rockarballo returns on Friday 28 August to bring Ondas Culturais 2026 to a high-energy close. Carballo’s Milagrosa neighbourhood will host an evening of live music featuring three acts connected to the Bergantiños scene: Pablo Carballo, Mal Juicio and The Cerne.
Pablo Carballo presents a Galician-language project that moves freely between bachata, mambo and elements of traditional Galician music, creating a sound rooted locally but open to unexpected combinations.
Mal Juicio brings the drive of youthful original rock to the stage, while The Cerne showcases its move towards original songwriting after years of performing covers, with a sound shaped by rock, blues and an intimate Galician sensibility.
Rockarballo is more than a sequence of concerts: it offers a snapshot of the talent, styles and generations currently making music in the area. Admission is free, making it an easy choice for anyone wanting to discover the contemporary sound of Carballo and Bergantiños.
