On Saturday, October 18th, 2025 at 4:30 p.m., Camariñas will turn pink to commemorate International Breast Cancer Awareness Day with the traditional Danza Rosa, organized by the municipality in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
The event will start at the Town Hall Square, with a symbolic walk and arch dance filling the streets with color and solidarity. At the end, the play “Os contos non enchen” will be performed, adding a cultural touch to the day.
Registrations can be made by calling 687 720 470 or 653 188 009. With a €7 donation, participants will receive the official t-shirt with the slogan “Camariñas un mar de piques”, with proceeds going to the fight against cancer.
