The Museo Man in Camelle will host throughout May the exhibition “Mujeres en la India”, an artistic showcase presenting the work of 8 artists from Ibiza —Aphon, Carmen Liberal, Lina Ardinach, Marga Juan, Marga Guasch, Matilde Hernández, Pilar Cuesta, and Patricia Boned— inspired by their stay at the Vicente Ferrer Foundation in Anantapur, India.
The exhibition also features contributions from poet Yolanda Bonet, offering a lyrical perspective to the project.
Through paintings, photographs, and poems, the artists share their experiences and emotions about the reality of women in India, providing a deep, creative, and socially committed vision.
Organized by the Concello de Camariñas in collaboration with the associations Art amb B and Ambaca, and the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics, this exhibition is a unique opportunity to engage with socially conscious contemporary art.
