The 23rd Carballo Autocross will take place on Saturday, 12 September 2026 at the Bértoa Municipal Circuit, one of the best-known dirt racing venues in Galician motorsport. The event arrives at a crucial stage of the Xunta de Galicia autocross championship, with 62 drivers confirmed when the entry deadline was announced.
Expect a full day of close racing, changing grip levels and the short, explosive heats that make autocross one of the most exciting forms of grassroots motorsport to watch trackside.
Entries will close on Wednesday, 9 September at 1:00 pm through the Galician Automobile Federation. At the same time, the event will be officially presented at the Carballo Town Council.
With championship points becoming increasingly valuable, Carballo will be a key round before the next scheduled event in Santa Comba on 26 September. Starts, traction off the clean line and consistency in traffic can be decisive when every heat affects the route to the finals.
Times may be adjusted during the day for sporting or organisational reasons.
The announced field includes experienced dirt racers such as Beto Lorenzo, Sergio Suárez Martelo, Daniel Señarís Añón, Iván Couto Pérez and Dany Castro, alongside Beatriz Varela Liñares, Mara Iglesias Esmorís and Noelia Ferreiro Caamaño.
The mix of machinery and driving styles is part of the appeal: cars rotating under braking, rapid weight transfer, dust, ruts and door-to-door fights can make every heat develop differently.
All racing takes place at the Bértoa Municipal Circuit in Carballo. For sporting updates and possible last-minute changes, visit the official Autocross Carballo website.
For motorsport fans, arriving early is worthwhile: the warm-up gives a first look at track conditions, while the qualifying heats quickly reveal which drivers have the pace and racecraft to fight for the A Finals.
