The Tourism Association of the Costa da Morte will attend the next edition of Fitur, the important international tourism fair that will take place in Madrid from 22 to 26 January. We will be part of the Tourism of Galicia’ stand, where other proposals from neighboring territories will be presented.

The presentation of the geodestine Costa da Morte will take place on January 22 at 5:00 pm under the suggestive title “Four ways to live intensely Costa da Morte”. The person in charge of the presentation will be the president of the CMAT Santiago Toba. It will also have the intervention of the Xunta Territorial Delegate of Galicia in A Coruña, Ovidio Rodeiro Tato.

The four values of the brand contemplated in the Costa da Morte 2019-2021 Tourism Action Plan will be the thread that will structure the presentation:

  • Marine character” represents the influence of the coast in our land through the crafts of the sea, the gastronomy and crafts, but also the wide range of sport activities and marine tourism that are offered in our councils.
  • Naturally wild” seeks to embrace the rugged landscape, cliffs, beaches and spectacular routes that make up a unique geography that is difficult to find anywhere else in the world.
  • Magical and spiritual” personified in the mysticism of the legends, pilgrimages and religious and pagan festivals and in the Camino de Santiago itself.
  • Traditional and deep” tries to enhance the folklore of the area, the tradition linked to the heritage, the fairs, markets …

These items that seek to faithfully represent the richness of the Costa da Morte and its tourist potential have also been the backbone of the newly released tourist guide, which is available for free download on the CMAT website.

After their intervention, an exclusive video created from the contributions of the different municipalities of the Costa da Morte will be projected on what these “personalities” represent in the whole of the geodesy.

The fair represents one of the most important events in the tourism sector worldwide with outstanding figures in the last edition that this year aims to improve and break records: 165 countries and regions represented through more than ten thousand companies and 250,000 attendees between professionals and the public. general. The guest country this year will be South Korea under the slogan “Imagine your Korea”.
