Find out more about Zas: Meda Peak

The Pico de Meda, in Zas, has already been the protagonist in a unique event this year: the partial solar eclipse, as it has been one of the few places in Spain, next to Cape Touriñan, from where this phenomenon has been seen. It is 566 meters high and from its summit it is possible to see the Atlático, even though it is not a municipality with access to the sea.

The Grande River is born in this watchtower, which bathes other municipalities in the area and it is also possible to see animals in the wild. At night, the spaciousness of the viewpoint allows for fantastic stellar views.
