Find out more about The Penedos de Pasarela e Traba (Pasarela and Traba Boulders)

This extraordinary geological formation, which is located between the municipalities of Laxe and Vimianzo, is made up of whimsical rock formations, which according to Professor Vidal Romaní are made up of plutonic rocks similar to those of the Pindo, formed in the Hercynian period, 301.2 million years ago, at a depth of about 24 kilometres.

With the sea as a backdrop, the Penedos de Pasarela and Traba constitute an impressive balcony overlooking the Atlantic.
