In the centre of the fishing village of Malpica we find the urban beach of Area Maior; a pleasant alternative to enjoy profitable surfing sessions, as well as its great atmosphere. This beach offers good waves, especially in the autumn and winter months, as in summer the waves are flatter. It works at low and medium tide, with soft and long waves, ideal for those who want to get started in this sport.
