Find out more about Lires Viewpoint

High above the small parish of Lires in Costa da Morte lies the Lires Viewpoint, a spectacular natural balcony overlooking the Lires Estuary—the smallest in Galicia—and the nearby beach. This elevated spot offers one of the most striking panoramic views in the region.

It is especially popular among pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago towards Fisterra and Muxía, who stop here to admire the unspoiled landscape and the serenity of the surroundings. Nature lovers and photographers will find in this viewpoint an unforgettable moment, particularly during sunset.

The Lires Viewpoint is one of the best places on the Costa da Morte to experience nature at its wildest and most beautiful, and to witness some of the most stunning sunsets in all of Galicia.
