The municipality of Corcubión is located in the extreme west of the province of A Coruña (Galicia), in the highest of the Rías Baixas and forming part of the so-called Costa da Morte.

The Corcubión Estuary, in which the mythical Cape of Fisterra is located, the highest of the Rías Baixas, has the characteristics of these and announces those of the northernmost coast. Thus, this land of transition combines in perfect harmony the calm and tranquillity of the Rías Baixas and the bravery and living nature characteristic of the Costa da Morte.
