The San Fins do Castro Tourist Festival returns on August 1 & 2, 2025, to the picturesque parish of San Fíns do Castro. On Friday, we kick off with the traditional dawn fanfares and parades, led by the energetic O Son do Castro bagpipers, whose Galician bagpipe tunes awaken the village.
At 9:00 AM, join the Solemn Mass in the San Fins chapel, sung by the Cesullas Choir, followed at noon by the Eduardo Pondal Music Band performing the San Fins Hymn. Then dig into the popular sardine barbecue and enjoy folk performances by Maruxía and Os Enxebres—a perfect blend of food and tradition.
In the afternoon, the skies light up with the roar of “O Berro Seco” and the fireworks spectacle “O Santo da Pólvora”, followed by a festive vermouth session with Alianza Orchestra to get everyone dancing. Friday night culminates with Alianza Orchestra and Los Players powering the open-air dance party into the early hours.
On Saturday, August 2, honoring Our Lady of Remedies, dawn serenades return with Maruxía, a solemn Mass at 1:00 PM, and another vermouth session with Ritmo Orchestra. As darkness falls, the Charada duo and Ritmo Orchestra close out the festival with live music and a vibrant atmosphere.
