Muinhada de Vimianzo 2026 returns on 16 and 17 October for the 11th Antropofesta, bringing two days of live music, dance, theatre, local traditions and Galician popular culture to the town’s historic watermills. In the evening, Muíño da Agra and the Palco do Tarabelo will host “Unha noite non é nada!”: Axeigo performs at 10:00 pm, followed by the Pandeireteiras de Xacarandaina at 11:30 pm, with an open foliada starting at 1:00 am.
Saturday begins at 12:00 noon at Muíño das Pasantes with Avelino González. At 1:15 pm, Muíño da Gándara will host a vermouth session with Do Rivés.
The afternoon continues at Muíño da Agra with a theatrical visit by Teté Teatro at 4:30 pm and the exhibition “Derradeiro. Os últimos muíños”. There will also be crafts, traditional corn games and a sound-toy workshop with Zuca-Truca at 5:00 pm. The traditional corn-shelling championship starts at 6:00 pm, followed by a foliada at 7:00 pm and a traditional dinner at 8:00 pm.
