Galician roots music takes centre stage on Saturday, 5 September 2026 in Brantuas-Niñóns, Ponteceso. Milladoiro, one of the landmark bands in Galician folk music, will perform at 21:00 on the esplanade of the local Cultural Association as part of the 18th Brantuas-Niñóns Cultural Week.
The evening offers a chance to experience traditional Galician music through the distinctive instrumental sound and long-standing artistic career that have made Milladoiro a reference both in Galicia and internationally. The concert is part of a community-led cultural week where music, local memory and social life come together.
The concert starts at 21:00 at the Brantuas-Niñóns Cultural Association esplanade. The event includes dinner and concert with a €15 donation. Capacity is limited, so advance booking is recommended.
The Milladoiro concert is one of the highlights of the 18th Brantuas-Niñóns Cultural Week, organised by A.C. Nosa Sra. do Faro. It is a special opportunity to hear one of Galicia’s historic folk ensembles live and enjoy a cultural evening in the rural surroundings of Ponteceso, on the Costa da Morte.
