The Conger Eel Festival 2026 in Muxía will be held from April 3 to 5 with a programme that blends gastronomy, music and a festive atmosphere in one of the most recognisable spring events on the Costa da Morte. This 28th edition once again pays tribute to a product deeply linked to Muxía’s seafaring tradition, turning the town into a perfect place to enjoy local culture, the taste of the sea and a true festive spirit.
Friday will be the main day of the celebration, with conger eel tasting, street bands and live concerts bringing energy to the streets and the seafront. The festival will continue on Sunday with a social dance, rounding off a weekend designed both for locals and for visitors who want to discover one of Muxía’s most distinctive gastronomic events.
