On Saturday 3 October 2026, Cabana de Bergantiños joins the fight against cancer with a charity walk open to local residents, families and visitors. It is an opportunity to walk together, support cancer research and enjoy an active afternoon by the sea.
The walk starts at 4:30 pm from Praza do Pendón. The 3.6 km route runs from Praza do Pendón to Praia de Orixeira and Praia do Curro before returning to the starting point.
Before the walk, there will be a Zumba warm-up with Isabel, a lively way to get moving and begin the event with plenty of energy.
Registration costs €5 for adults and €3 for children up to 12 years old. You can register at the establishments listed on the poster or through the official website: register for Cabana de Bergantiños Walk Against Cancer 2026.
If you cannot attend on the day, you can still support the initiative by purchasing a Solidarity Bib.
The walk is supported by the councils of Cabana de Bergantiños and Ponteceso, with Vegalsa Eroski and Solán de Cabras España as sponsors, and the collaboration of Clúster Galego da Industria do Deporte e o Benestar, Gavín and the Covirán supermarket in Cabana de Bergantiños.
A healthy plan in the Costa da Morte that also helps raise awareness and support for the fight against cancer.
