O Mes da Fundación 2026 continues in Cee with a talk by Diego Andrade, a CITIC researcher and professor at the University of A Coruña, on how supercomputing can help anticipate events that have not yet happened.
The talk “Que tempo vai facer mañá? Supercomputación para predicir o que aínda non pasou” uses examples such as fires that have not yet started, cyclones that have not yet arrived and fuel spills that have not yet spread. It offers an accessible look at how computational models can explore future scenarios and support informed decisions.
Saturday 3 October 2026 at 8:30 pm, at Casa da Cultura de Cee. The event is open to the general public and free of charge.
