A small act of kindness can make a real difference. On Monday, 19 October 2026, a mobile blood donation unit will be in Laxe, outside the Town Hall, from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Local residents and eligible visitors are invited to take part and help support hospital blood supplies.
Here are a few useful reminders before you visit:
As a general guide, this campaign welcomes people over 18 who weigh more than 50 kg. Medical staff will assess individual eligibility before donation.
Laxe Town Council encourages the local community to take part in this worthwhile initiative. Your donation could help someone who needs a blood transfusion.
For more information, call the freephone number 900 100 828 or visit the official website of ADOS, Galicia’s Blood and Organ Donation Agency.
