Benofán returns to the Muiñada de Vimianzo bringing music, rhythm and a festive atmosphere to one of the most distinctive autumn events on the Costa da Morte. The band from Calo, in Teo, is back in Vimianzo for a celebration rooted in tradition, watermills and Galician popular culture.
The 2026 Muiñada de Vimianzo takes place on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October. Over two days, the festival revives the spirit of the time when mills were also places for gathering, music and dancing, combining heritage, identity and celebration.
With the energy of a street band and a repertoire made for dancing and celebrating, Benofán returns to the Muiñada for a weekend built around traditional music and Galician culture.
A great chance to enjoy Benofán and the atmosphere of a festival that takes visitors back to the days when the mills seemed to dance.
