The Muiñada de Vimianzo 2026 returns on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October for a new edition of this celebration of Galician traditional music, popular culture and the rural heritage linked to corn and watermills. One of the confirmed acts is the Pandeireteiras of A.C. Xacarandaina, travelling from A Coruña with a performance rooted in traditional singing, hand percussion and dance.
Xacarandaina brings to the programme a strong connection with the preservation and transmission of Galician traditional culture. Tambourines, voices and popular repertoire will be part of two days designed to share music and heritage in a festive, community atmosphere.
Muiñada takes place around Muíño da Agra in Vimianzo, a venue closely connected with the origins of this cultural gathering. The event combines heritage, live music and popular culture while keeping alive the spirit of the old social gatherings held around local mills.
Tickets are already available at woutick.es. For anyone looking for cultural events in Costa da Morte in October, Muiñada de Vimianzo offers a contemporary and participatory way to experience Galician traditional music and local identity.
