The Carnota Town Council is offering a basic digital skills course for people over 65, specially designed for those who have a mobile phone but are not sure how to use many of its apps. Over three weeks, divided into 3 content blocks, you will learn how to book a medical appointment by phone, browse the internet, use social media and handle your device more confidently in everyday life.
This is a completely free course delivered by Ara Formación and funded by the Xunta de Galicia and the European Union. You do not need to bring anything in particular; you just have to register and attend the sessions, which will take place at the Carnota Town Hall during the last week of January and the first two weeks of February, from Monday to Thursday in the morning.
If you would like to feel more comfortable with technology and gain independence, sign up now by calling +34 647 459 445 or visiting the Department of Culture at Carnota Town Council.
