Ukestra do Medio performs at Lagomar Camping in Merexo, Muxía, on Monday 24 August 2026 at 7:30 pm, as part of the Agosto no Lagomar programme. An open-air concert filled with rhythm, humour and the unmistakable sound of ukuleles by the Atlantic.
Formed in Santiago de Compostela in 2013, Ukestra do Medio explores the possibilities of the ukulele through a lively, wide-ranging musical approach. Their repertoire draws on rock and roll, country, swing, pop and surf, while also connecting with traditional Galician and Portuguese music.
With vocals, several types of ukulele and a playful range of rhythmic instruments, the group turns its live shows into close, energetic performances that are hard to fit into a single genre.
A live music event in Muxía and a chance to discover one of Galicia’s most distinctive ensembles while enjoying the Costa da Morte to the sound of ukuleles.
