August 2026 cultural programme in Laxe

The August 2026 cultural programme in Laxe brings together painting, film, literature, music, magic and outdoor activities from 31 July to 19 September.

Events will take place at several venues in Laxe and in the parishes of Nande and Serantes, offering a varied cultural programme throughout the month.

• Throughout August and until 19 September: painting exhibition by Marian Molina Molina.
• Friday 31 July, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August: 13th Pirate Market, from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 23:00, in Ramón Juega Square.
• Wednesday 5 August: presentation of Cineclube Portozás at 19:00 at the Museo do Mar de Laxe.
• Thursday 6 August: screening of a documentary by Mary Quintero at 11:30 at the Museo do Mar de Laxe.
• Saturday 8 August: outdoor screening of “Kung Fu Panda 4” at 22:30 at the Aprazadoiro in the parish of Nande, next to the church.
• Sunday 9 August: storytelling session “A nena lentella” at 19:30 in the parish of Serantes, next to the Local Social dos Veciños.
• Wednesday 12 August: special “Solar Eclipse” programme.
• Saturday 15 August: performance by the Banda de Música Eduardo Pondal, with a street parade from 11:00 in Laxe.
• Friday 21 August: storytelling session “Petróglifos” at 19:30 at Monte da Ínsua.
• Saturday 22 August: 20th Solpor Poético e Certame de Poesía Antón Zapata García, from 20:00 at Praia dos Cristais in Laxe.
• Friday 28 August: Maxia “Ilusiónate” at 19:30 in Ramón Juega Square.
