Coristanco is coming together once again for a cause that concerns everyone. On Sunday, 4 October 2026, the local branch of the Spanish Association Against Cancer will hold the 7th Solidarity Walk Against Cancer, an open community event for anyone wishing to walk together, show support in the fight against cancer and enjoy an accessible outdoor activity.
The meeting point will be at 9:00 am at the Church of San Lourenzo da Agualada, in Coristanco. The event follows a circular route of 4 kilometres, with a low level of difficulty and an estimated duration of around 50 minutes, making it suitable for a relaxed walking pace.
Advance registration is required and will remain open until Thursday, 1 October at 12:00 noon. Participants can register by calling 981 733 280 or in person at the Coristanco Municipal Library.
During the event, the Coristanco branch of the Spanish Association Against Cancer will have a donation point, solidarity bibs and information material available for anyone who wishes to contribute.
Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing, suitable walking shoes and bring water. A welcoming local event where every step matters and where Coristanco comes together once again in support of the fight against cancer.
