The 25N institutional event in Coristanco is an open invitation for all residents to come together and raise their voices against every form of violence. Coristanco Town Council calls on the local community to take part in this day of commitment and remembrance, held on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a key date to defend equality and respect as core values of the municipality.
With the mottos “Nin unha cadeira máis baleira” (Not one more empty chair) and “Non permitas que ninguén deteña o teu impulso” (Don’t let anyone stop your drive), the 25N institutional event in Coristanco highlights the importance of living in freedom, caring for one another and breaking the silence that allows violence to continue. Every occupied chair in this symbolic gathering represents a present life, visible support for victims and a firm refusal to tolerate any kind of abuse.
The council encourages everyone to attend and join this space for reflection, visibility and shared commitment. Your presence matters, because together we build a freer, safer and more equal Coristanco. Taking part in the 25N institutional event is one more step towards making this day more than just a date on the calendar: a true collective statement of principles and hope.
