The 14th Xuntanza de Cabaleiros de Quintáns returns on Saturday 5 September 2026 in Quintáns, Muxía, bringing together horse-riding enthusiasts for a full day of riding, local food, music and community celebration.
The day starts at 10:00 am with the departure from Quintáns towards the Santuario da Barca. The route is a return ride and includes snacks along the way, adding a relaxed social element to the equestrian outing.
Riders are expected back in Quintáns at around 2:00 pm, when the celebration continues with live music by DJ Crejo.
The traditional outdoor lunch begins at 3:00 pm. The menu includes empanada, Galician-style boiled beef, barbecue, dessert and coffee.
Tickets cost €25 for riders and €30 for non-riders, so visitors can join the meal and social programme even if they do not take part in the horse ride.
