On Saturday 7 November 2026, the Centro Sociocultural de Zas will host a traditional Galician magosto, an autumn celebration centred on chestnuts, music and getting together. Activities begin at 5:00 pm, with DJ Rokiño performing from 7:00 pm.
A magosto is one of Galicia’s most welcoming seasonal traditions: a chance to catch up with neighbours and friends while enjoying chestnuts and the atmosphere of a local gathering. This celebration brings that spirit to Zas, in the Costa da Morte.
According to the event poster, one free paper cone of chestnuts is offered with a drink purchase. The refreshment stand will be run by fourth-year secondary students from CPI de Zas.
DJ Rokiño starts at 7:00 pm, adding music to the festivities and keeping the evening lively. It’s a friendly way to experience a local tradition during an autumn visit to the area.
