Traditional Galician music and dance bring generations together in Fisterra. The Fisterra Town Council’s Culture Department is accepting registrations for courses in traditional tambourine playing, Galician singing and folk dance.
People over 16 can sign up for traditional tambourine and singing classes or Galician folk dance. Beginner, intermediate and advanced activities are planned.
Children aged 6 to 15 can learn traditional Galician tambourine and singing. The children’s course will run subject to a minimum number of participants.
Classes will take place during the school year. Intermediate and advanced tambourine and singing classes, together with folk dance, are scheduled for Tuesday afternoons. Adult beginner groups and children’s tambourine and singing classes are scheduled for Thursday afternoons.
