Some places on the Costa da Morte deserve time to be appreciated. Punta Nariga Lighthouse in Malpica de Bergantiños is one of them. On Saturday, 24 October 2026, two free guided tours will take place here as part of the European Heritage Days organised by the Deputación da Coruña (XEPDAC).
Set among sculptural granite rocks overlooking the Atlantic, Punta Nariga Lighthouse was designed by architect César Portela. It is a striking example of architecture shaped by its coastal setting and a wonderful place to explore Malpica’s heritage and landscape.
Places must be booked in advance. Registration opens on Friday, 16 October at 12:00 noon. Find the registration form and further details on the official European Heritage Days website of the Deputación da Coruña.
