Arou celebrates San Roque 2026 on Saturday, 3 October with a full day of local festivities combining tradition, live music and a lively evening celebration in one of the most distinctive seaside villages of Camariñas, on the Costa da Morte.
The celebrations begin at 11:00 with a street parade by the bagpipe group Jolpe de Mar, bringing traditional Galician music to the village.
At 13:00, a solemn mass in honour of San Roque will take place, one of the central moments of the day.
Afterwards, the Super Top orchestra will lead the lunchtime music session, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
In the evening, Arou will host a lively verbena with the Super Top orchestra and Impacto mobile disco, with music and dancing into the night.
The organisers confirm that a marquee will be available, making it easier to enjoy the programme even if the weather changes.
San Roque in Arou is a great opportunity to experience an authentic local festival in Camariñas, combining Galician musical tradition, a lunchtime session and a classic evening verbena. It is an excellent plan for visitors looking to discover the festive culture of the Costa da Morte.
