Ponteceso hosts a new hiking event on Saturday, 26 September 2026, offering participants the chance to enjoy the sea, local trails and the landscapes of the municipality along a route of around 14 kilometres.
The walk starts at 09:30 from Praza do Recheo. The route is rated medium-high difficulty and covers 13.81 km, with 313 m of positive elevation gain and 317 m of descent. The estimated walking time is approximately 3 hours and 13 minutes.
Most of the route runs through natural terrain, with around 90% of the course on earth tracks, making it an appealing plan for hikers who want to discover the landscapes of Costa da Morte.
