«Ao son da nova regueifa» travels across Galicia to discover how the regueifa tradition remains alive, evolving and finding new forms of expression without losing its roots.
Through the voices of regueifa performers from different generations and areas, the documentary explores improvisation, music and the stories surrounding one of Galicia’s most distinctive oral traditions.
An opportunity to get to know a living tradition that continues to create, surprise and connect generations.
The event is organised in collaboration with Cultura da Deputación da Coruña as part of its «Outono das artes» programme.
