The Galician Breast Cancer Early Detection Programme will run a new campaign for women who receive an appointment in the municipality of Laxe during October 2026. Screening examinations are scheduled for 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13 and 14 October.
For this campaign, both appointment notifications and result communications will be sent by SMS. Laxe Council advises participants to check official SERGAS messages and review the information linked to their appointment.
Women included in this campaign will receive both their appointment details and the corresponding result communication by SMS. Participants should ensure that the phone number linked to their health records is up to date.
If an appointment needs to be changed, it can be managed through the SERGAS Móbil app or by calling the programme’s user support number: 981 141 414.
A free bus service will be available to make travel easier for participating women. Routes, stops, timetables and the relevant screening dates can be checked through official SERGAS information.
