Carballo becomes one of the key meeting points for Galician roller hockey on Monday 12 October with the Galicia Cup finals. The Carballo Calero Sports Centre will host four teams across two decisive matches, with both the women’s and men’s titles at stake in an afternoon designed for fans to enjoy top-level hockey from the stands.
The action begins at 5:30 pm with the women’s final between Unikal HC Raxoi and Marineda Hockey.
At 7:30 pm, the men’s final will see CDM Hockey Patines OK Plata face Calvo Escola Lubiáns.
Two finals, four teams and one trophy in each category make this an especially appealing event for hockey fans, families and anyone interested in discovering high-level roller hockey. The intensity of a final, the atmosphere in the stands and the quality of the teams involved promise a strong sporting spectacle in Carballo.
Both matches will be played at the Carballo Calero Sports Centre, Rúa Carballo Calero s/n, 15100 Carballo, A Coruña. The municipal venue is equipped for roller sports competitions and is located within Carballo town.
The local team has thanked the sponsors and institutions whose support makes this celebration of Galician hockey possible. Fans are invited to come along, support the teams and enjoy two finals with everything still to play for.
