The I Folía da Sartaña comes to Muxía on 24 October 2026 for an afternoon devoted to Galician traditional music, dance and culture at Camping Lago-Mar, beside Praia de Lago. The programme brings together workshops, traditional music groups, a concert, local food and an open foliada to round off the day.
The event begins with a danzas brancas workshop from the Concello de Muxía and a traditional Galician dance session led by Tomás Lagoa, offering a participatory introduction to Galicia’s musical and dance heritage.
From 17:30, the folía features Xaramiños do Corpiño, Abaladeiras, Vaiche Boa, Con Todo en Banda, Mar Devalado, PetaForte, Nin Chica Nin Patacón, Pedras Miúdas, Trubisquiñas, AV San Adrián de Toba, AC Fonte Santa, Sentenarios, Abelleira E. and Pa Feira co que Temos.
The musical programme will finish with a concert by Lorelia, followed by an open foliada where everyone can keep dancing and sharing traditional music.
The event will be hosted by Josiño and Anjustias from Radio Nordés. A special menu will also be available for €10: callos or empanada, dessert and traditional pot coffee, adding a strong local food element to a day of music, dance and community in the Costa da Morte.
A lively opportunity to experience an authentic Galician foliada in Muxía, discover traditional music groups and enjoy communal dancing in one of the most distinctive settings on the Costa da Morte.
