On Saturday, 19 September 2026 at 19:00, the Museo de Corme hosts a screening of “El Arqueólogo”, a short documentary by Antón Taboada exploring the creative process of French sculptor Emile Gireau and a life experience shaped by the 1992 sinking of the oil tanker Mar Egeo.
The film follows the development of Emile Gireau’s artistic work and offers an intimate look at the relationship between creativity, memory and personal experience. The screening is part of Corme’s cultural programme and is an opportunity to discover this audiovisual story in a venue closely connected to local culture.
The activity is supported by the Provincial Council of A Coruña.
