Baíñas hosts Polo a Brasa Baíñas 2026 on Saturday, 3 October 2026, bringing together local food, live music and a recreational mountain-bike route in one full day of community celebration. The event takes place at the sports pavilion next to CEIP de Baíñas, in the municipality of Vimianzo.
The main gastronomic gathering starts from 7:30 pm. The announced menu includes grilled chicken, peppers, bread, wine or water, rosca cake and coffee. The organisers also state that takeaway chicken will be available.
Music will continue throughout the evening with Dúo Fábula, followed from midnight by The Diskyle, turning the dinner into a lively local celebration.
Tickets cost €12 in advance and €15 at the door. Advance tickets are available at Supermercado Muíño and Bar Katuxas in Baíñas. For information and reservations, the poster lists Juan at 649 42 74 93 and Miguel at 629 74 80 44.
Table reservations are also available for groups of at least 10 people, making the event especially convenient for families and groups of friends.
Before dinner, participants can join the Ruta do Polo BTT, a non-competitive recreational bike route of around 20 kilometres, designed to be as flat as possible. Departure is scheduled for 5:00 pm from the school in Baíñas.
Registration is available by calling 629 74 80 44. At the finish there will be a tasting of grilled chicken with peppers, bread, drink, rosca cake and coffee. Showers and bike-washing facilities are also announced.
Polo a Brasa Baíñas 2026 is a strong option for visitors looking for things to do in Vimianzo on 3 October: a combination of cycling, traditional food and music that reflects the social life of inland Costa da Morte.
The event is organised by local groups in Baíñas with the collaboration of Vimianzo Council.
