A arte da guerra, by Mofa e Befa, comes to FIOT 2026 in Carballo as part of the Programa de Sala and as a world premiere and FIOT co-production. The performance takes place on Friday 23 October at 9:00 pm at the Auditorio Pazo da Cultura.
Mofa e Befa’s new production brings the sharp humour and stage intelligence that have made the duo a landmark of Galician comedy. Martial-arts imagery, action-movie heroics and the rituals of combat collide with absurdity, satire and the unmistakable bite of Galician retranca.
Featuring Evaristo Calvo, Víctor Mosqueira and Josito Porto, with dramaturgy by Cadaval & Santiago and direction by Carlos Santiago, the show plays with familiar genre codes only to dismantle them through theatre. Expect pace, comic precision and a taste for irreverence from one of Galicia’s most distinctive stage partnerships.
Its premiere in Carballo strengthens FIOT’s role as a meeting point for new Galician theatre and for artists capable of turning popular culture into sharp contemporary performance.
