The XXXIII Carreira das Areas Concello de Carnota takes place on Sunday, 27 September 2026, with the race hub set around the Hórreo de Carnota. The event includes races for young age groups, a 3 km charity run against cancer and the 10 km open race, bringing popular athletics to one of the most distinctive settings on the Costa da Morte.
Organised by the Concello de Carnota, the race is part of Galicia’s popular running calendar and features in the Correndo pola Costa da Morte circuit and the XII Circuito Deputación da Coruña.
Registration for the 3K and 10K races costs €8 plus €1 for the timing chip, while entry for the youth categories is free. Registration is advertised as open until 22 September 2026.
