On Saturday, 19 September 2026, the O Conco Sports Facilities in Dumbría will host the 5th Intensive Women’s Self-Defense Seminar, a three-hour practical session designed to bring self-protection training closer to women in an accessible, hands-on setting.
The event is part of the intensive women’s self-defense seminar programme promoted across the province of A Coruña and comes to Dumbría with the collaboration of the Deputación da Coruña and Dumbría Council. Training is delivered by the Escola de Defensa Persoal e Policial HKF.
This women’s self-defense seminar in Dumbría offers a practical morning session focused on strengthening personal safety, confidence and the ability to respond in everyday risk situations. It is an opportunity to approach self-protection through specialist, in-person training led by experienced instructors.
