On 12 August 2026, Muxía will be a privileged place to experience an exceptional natural event: a total solar eclipse.
Muxía Town Council invites families, friends, visitors and local residents to share this experience responsibly and with enthusiasm.
Never look directly at the Sun without proper protection. The Town Council has acquired certified special glasses for solar observation, which will be distributed to local residents together with the necessary information and recommendations.
On 12 August, look to the sky from Muxía. It will be a day to remember for many years.
