August at the Mill 2026

August at the Mill 2026 offers a programme for all ages from 4 to 28 August at the Centro de Interpretación dos Muíños de Auga da Costa da Morte in Golmar, A Laracha.

The programme brings together children’s and adult workshops, creative activities, healthy cooking and heritage walks. Registration is free by email at museodegolmar@alaracha.gal or by phone on 647 82 85 59.

Programme for August at the Mill

• Tuesday 4 August: at 11:00, heritage walk with a guided visit to the interpretation centre and a walk along the Ruta da Muíñeira beside the River Acheiro. Open to all.
• Wednesday 12 August: from 11:00 to 13:00, Fíos Creativos, a children’s sewing workshop with Ana Trasariz for ages 6 to 12.
• Thursday 13 August: from 11:00 to 13:00, Fíos Creativos, a sewing workshop for adults with Ana Trasariz, from age 13.
• Wednesday 19 August: from 10:30 to 13:00, Do Gran ao Pan, a children’s workshop for ages 5 to 12.
• Thursday 20 August: at 11:00, heritage walk with a guided visit to the interpretation centre and a walk along the Ruta da Muíñeira beside the River Acheiro. Open to all.
• Saturday 22 August: from 11:00 to 13:00, Do Lixo á Xoia, an adult workshop creating sustainable jewellery from marine litter with Lixo Atelier.
• Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 August: from 10:30 to 13:00, Máns á Masa, a healthy cooking workshop for children aged 5 to 12.
• Thursday 27 and Friday 28 August: from 10:30 to 13:00, Días no Muíño, a children’s workshop for ages 5 to 12.

The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 18:00.
