Costa da Morte now has its own video game. Costa da Morte Runner is an initiative promoted by the Association of Tourism Professionals of Costa da Morte (APTCM) and developed entirely on a voluntary basis by Martín Caamaño, a member of the association, a resident of Vimianzo, an IT professional and the creator of the Costa da Morte Death Coast brand.
Inspired by classic arcade games and pixel art, the game takes players through the 17 municipalities of Costa da Morte, featuring iconic locations, legends, heritage, traditional tools, characters and stories connected to the identity of the region. The main character is Eustaquio, who must overcome a series of obstacles and challenges to rescue Princess Mía. It offers a fun and innovative way to show that Costa da Morte can also be discovered through play.
The official presentation of Costa da Morte Runner will take place on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fórum de Carballo. The video game is completely free, can be played on mobile phones, tablets and computers, and will be available through the Costa da Morte geodestination website.
