Summer Programme 2026 in Carnota

The Summer Programme 2026 in Carnota brings together cultural, sporting, tourism and festive activities from June to September. The calendar includes shows for children and families, theatre, open-air cinema, guided routes, music, local festivals, food events and activities connected with the municipality’s heritage and natural landscape.

The programme will begin on 17 June with the ESMU Music Festival at the Auditorio do Viso and will continue throughout July with shows such as “Con lingua propia” by Peter Punk Pallaso, “As máis molonas de Pakolas”, “A volta máxica ao mundo” by Maga Gema and “Sherezade, Aladino e os tres beduínos” by Teatro dos Ghazafelhos. There will also be guided routes around Lira, A Moa and the As Laxiñas petroglyphs, outdoor cinema, seafood tastings and local celebrations in Caldebarcos.

August will bring further events such as the Carreira a Pé de Lira, MaméVisión, outdoor cinema, evening guided routes, the San Mamede festivities, the Vilar de Carnota Lyric Gala, the Festa do Mar in Lira, theatre at the Hórreo de Lira, storytelling and the festivals of Quilmas and Mallou. The programme will conclude on 27 September with the Carreira das Areas.
