The Lumarea da Vila 2026 in Camariñas will take place on 23 June at Praia Area da Vila, during one of the most eagerly awaited nights of the summer on the Costa da Morte. This celebration of fire, music and local tradition will once again bring residents and visitors together by the sea.
The programme will begin at 5:00 p.m. with free water inflatables on the beach, a fun activity for families and children. At 7:00 p.m., the celebration will continue with a free sardine feast with cachelos and broa, a perfect way to enjoy one of Galicia’s most traditional summer flavours in a festive seaside atmosphere.
At 8:00 p.m., music will take centre stage with a lively performance by Louband and Mekanika Rolling Band, two of the best charangas in Galicia. At midnight, the main moment of the night will arrive with the lighting of the lumarea, accompanied by a pyrotechnic show and an impressive firecracker display. The celebration will continue with Orquesta Kubo and Discomóvil CDC. The event is organised by the Asociación Lumarea da Vila, with the collaboration of the Concello de Camariñas and the Deputación da Coruña.
